Michael V. Regeimbal

Michael V. Regeimbal has practiced in the area of Elder Law to include Guardianship, Probate, Estate Planning and Trusts since 1991. He graduated from Central Washington State College in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. In 1982 he passed the Certified Public Accountant Exam and Graduated from Seattle University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. In 1990 he graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a Juris Doctor in Law and passed the Washington State Bar Exam. In 1996 he earned a Certificate in Estate Planning from the Washington Law School Foundation University of Washington School of Law. In January, 2014 he completed training in Collaborative Law.

In addition to education and work experience, he has been very involved in community activities. He has given a monthly free legal clinic, known as Legally Speaking, to seniors at the Des Moines Senior Center, for the past nineteen years. His past community activities include Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Highline Community College, President of the Highline Community College Foundation, President of the Des Moines Chamber of Commerce and President of the Des Moines/Midway Rotary Club.

Robert P. McDonald

Robert P. McDonald has been engaged in a general law practice since 1991, with a focus on Elder Law since 1997. He has served as a Court Appointed Guardian Ad Litem in King County since 1995 and has served as a Guardian Ad Litem in Pierce County. In 1975 he graduated from the University of Washington receiving a Bachelor of Sciences in Pharmacy Degree. He is currently licensed to practice pharmacy in Washington State. In 1990 he graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a Juris Doctor in law. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Association and the South King County Bar Association. He is a former member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, the American Society of Pharmacy Law, and the Snohomish County Mental Health Advisory Board. His past community activities include making presentations to senior groups regarding medication safety. In January, 2014 he completed training in Collaborative Law.

Saphronia Young

Saphronia Young has been licensed to practice for 22 years. Her background includes extensive litigation and trial experience, including probate and estate matters. She was first licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas, and worked at a boutique law firm representing sureties. Her first jury trials were for litigation involving probate and guardianship cases there. She successfully defended a guardian from claims of waste of estate assets in a multi-party and multi-day jury trial, successfully defended the public guardian of a small northern Missouri county in numerous jury trials, represented sureties in several matters involving claims against fiduciary bonds, including the successful trial and appellate matter on behalf of the surety, State Farm, in a case styled King v. Jones, No. 54233, (Mo.Ct.App. W.D. 1998). After moving to Washington state, she continued her litigation practice, including successful representation of the Fletcher brothers in resisting claims of undue influence and duress in the probate litigation styled Bale v. Allison & Fletcher, 294 P.3d 789 (2013).

Her other areas of focus are employment construction and mediation. She has practiced in both State and Federal Court. She is certified by the American Arbitration Association for mediation of construction disputes, and by the King County Inter-Local Conflict Resolution Group in mediation of labor and employment disputes. She taught annual seminars for the King County Bar Association on wage claims and has authored several articles on the same subject.

Ermin Ciric

Ermin Ciric is currently an Associate Attorney and has been with the firm since August, 2010. He received an Associates of Arts Degree from Green River Community College, Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Washington, and his Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law. His areas of focus include representation in transactional matters related to elder law, construction, real estate and contracts, as well as litigation in these matters. His goal in representing any client is to leave them in a better position than when engaged, this starts with cost-effective representation.

ASHLEY CATLETT

Lead Paralegal with experience in Guardianship, Probate, Real Estate, Trust and Estate Planning. She graduated from Highline College with an Associate of Applied Science Degree and Paralegal Certificate and has attended numerous CLE seminars related to the firm’s practice areas. She has been with the firm since August, 2010.

DEBBIE SULTAN

Guardianship Supervisor. She completed her Associate of Applied Science and Paralegal Certificate at Highline Community College. She continues to volunteer with Washington New Americans at citizenship events. She has been with the firm since January, 2013.

TERESA SCHULTZ

Office Manager and handles the firm’s Accounts Payable and Receivable. She has over 18 years of client billing, staff support, accounts payable, payroll, customer service and bookkeeping experience. She has been with the firm since December, 1999.

LESLIE AAL

Information Technology Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Systems from the University of Washington. She has been with the firm since October, 2007.

HALINA HUBER

Legal Assistant. She has previously worked in Elder Law with experience in Guardianship and Probate. She is a graduate from University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Criminal Justice and has been with the firm since April, 2014.
